Steven A. Ovadia, MD

Dr. Ovadia is a double fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon and craniofacial surgeon, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, practicing in New York and New Jersey. He completed his plastic surgery training in Miami, Florida, followed by two fellowships — Gender Affirming Surgery at Johns Hopkins and Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at UT Austin / Dell Children's Hospital.

Following his fellowships, Dr. Ovadia served as the Director of the Center for Transgender Health at Rutgers University until the end of 2025, before founding his own private practice, Ovadia Plastic Surgery.

With fellowship training in two surgical subspecialties, Dr. Ovadia brings expertise to a broad range of procedures including breast reconstruction, gender affirmation surgery, facial cosmetic surgery including facelift, breast reduction and body contouring, facial trauma and complex facial reconstruction, and pediatric plastic surgery.

Dr. Ovadia is a native of the Northeast, having grown up on Long Island with his seven brothers and sisters. He speaks English and Spanish.

In his free time, Dr. Ovadia enjoys weightlifting, leathercraft, movies, music, and spending time with his family.
